National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
Welcome to the official website of the Augusta Parish Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). Our chapter was established on December 10, 2005, in Staunton, Virginia.
We are an active, patriotic group of women dedicated to perpetuating the ideals of the NSDAR. This site will give you information on our activities and how to join our chapter. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!
Augusta Parish members toured Ash Lawn-Highland, home of President James Monroe, at a recent meeting.
The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.
Augusta Parish is interested in supporting our veterans and troops, exploring American history and heritage, and supporting conservation efforts and women's issues. We meet each second Saturday of the month, September through May. We welcome prospective members and guests to our meetings.
